Accra’s Joy FM Street was transformed into a vibrant party scene as Chichi DJ, winner of the 2024 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Nocturnal People’s Choice Award, took the center stage at the Smirnoff In The Mix Street Edition.
The celebration, which took place on June 27, brought together music lovers, cultural influencers, and partygoers for a night filled with energy, creativity, and community spirit.
Chichi DJ, gave an amazing performance that had the crowd dancing all night. Known for her energetic mixes, she blended Hip-life, Afrobeats, Amapiano and Hip-hop to bring a fresh and exciting sound to the event. Alongside other top DJs like DJ Lord OTB, DJ Phantom, DJ Wallpaper, Merqury Quaye, and Ad DJ, the night became a true celebration of Ghana’s vibrant DJ culture and musical creativity.
The Smirnoff In The Mix Street Edition is part of a growing series that began as exclusive house parties and has now opened up to the wider public, reflecting Smirnoff’s commitment to inclusivity, fun, and bringing people together. The event featured colourful decorations, lively lights, and a welcoming atmosphere that encouraged everyone to express themselves and enjoy the moment.
Guinness Ghana’s 65th anniversary was at the heart of the celebration, with brand representatives highlighting the importance of community and thanking loyal consumers for their ongoing support.
The event also introduced partygoers to Smirnoff’s latest flavour innovations, including Pineapple Punch, Double Black, Guarana, and the newest addition, Spicy Tamarind. The Spicy Tamarind flavor is a Mexican inspired fusion with sweet, zingy, and spicy notes of tamarind, lime, and chili.
