Ghana is now in full DJ season, a time to celebrate the DJs who bring the country’s music and nightlife to life.
The Ghana DJ Awards Pub Fest is set to take the excitement of DJ culture on the road to selected regions across the country ahead of the main awards night on November 29, 2025. The kickoff event on Friday, August 1, will bring fans an exciting night of live performances from headline DJs, setting the stage for an unforgettable start to the season.
Deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority, Abeiku Aggrey Santana, captured the spirit of the season by highlighting why DJs are so important. “Imagine going to a party without a DJ. What will happen? Imagine no DJs on the radio or at events. What will happen?” he asked. “DJs are like the engines of music. They bring energy, meaning, and life to the songs created by artists.”
The Pub Fest is more than just a warm up for the main awards night. It is a moving celebration of the DJs’ role across the country, bringing music, dance, and fun directly to local communities. This tour connects the DJs, fans, and brands in an interactive way, letting people experience the magic of live DJing up close.
With support from Guinness Ghana and Smirnoff, the Pub Fest will turn pubs and lounges into hubs of music discovery and fan excitement.
