Serato just announced an update to its Serato Sample plugin for DJ/producers.
Now at version 1.1.1, it includes support for the latest macOS 10.15 Catalina operating system for Mac users.
Serato Sample is a simple and easy-to-use sampling plugin that was introduced two years ago.
It lets you import an audio clip and quickly chop it up, pitch shift, and time stretch with a minimum of fuss.
We reviewed Serato Sample when it launched in July 2017.
Though not as full-featured as the company’s newer Serato Studio beatmaking platform, Serato Sample is a useful little plugin for DJ/producers who like chopping up beats in a DAW but want to do it in a more familiar (at least for Serato users) environment.
It’s also great for producers who don’t want to learn how to use another big piece of software (ie Serato Studio) but just want to sample a beat quickly.
