Excitement is rising for the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards powered by Smirnoff, as popular dancehall star Samini is confirmed to perform for the very first time on the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards stage.

The announcement came from DJ Bridash, a close associate of Samini and a DJ at Hitz FM , during a live segment on Cruise Control with Merqury Quaye on Thursday, July 24.

“Samini will officially perform at this year’s Guinness Ghana DJ Awards”, DJ Bridash confirmed, adding that many fans expect his debut performance to be a standout moment of the night.

DJ Bridash also revealed that Samini’s team is already working closely with the event organisers to ensure a smooth and memorable performance, showing the camp’s full support for the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.

This announcement adds fresh energy to the special 13th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards. Themed “Shake the Floor,” is scheduled for November 29 at Palms Convention Center and will bring together some of Ghana’s best DJs alongside thrilling live performances and innovative music presentations.

The news follows a successful launch on July 19 at Luna Rooftop Bar, Airport City, which attracted notable figures in entertainment, politics, and media.
