The eagerly anticipated 13th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, proudly powered by Smirnoff, will be officially launched on July 19 at the Luna Rooftop Bar in Airport City, Accra.
This year’s theme, “Shake the Floor”, builds on the energy and success of the 2024 edition. It continues the tradition of spotlighting DJs as more than music selectors, positioning them as cultural curators who energize communities through sound, rhythm, and immersive experiences.

Since becoming a partner, Smirnoff, the world’s number one Vodka/Ready to drink brand, has helped power the Ghana DJ Awards, which has grown into one of the country’s most influential cultural platforms.
The July 19 launch event will kickstart a dynamic calendar of activities leading to the grand finale on November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Center in Accra. Fans can look forward to signature events such as Pub Fest, the Ghana DJ Clinic, and the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Nominees Jam.

Organizers Merqury Republic have revealed that this year’s ceremony will feature performances from over a dozen top DJs and artists, with more announcements expected at the launch.
“From music to fashion, we’ve proudly maintained a platform where creatives thrive,” said Merqury Quaye, Creative Director of the festival. “With the continued support of the Smirnoff trademark, we’re excited to celebrate both pioneers and emerging talent in Ghana’s DJ culture.”
Since Guinness Ghana PLC assumed corporate sponsorship in 2023, the awards have entered a new phase—marked by stronger industry recognition and greater investment in Ghana’s creative ecosystem. The past two editions have demonstrated this commitment, and the 2025 edition promises to elevate it further.
