Award-winning Ghanaian MC Kojo Manuel has chosen his win as the best MC at the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards as his highlight of 2019.
Speaking with Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh on the Muse Africa‘s Big Talk, Manny Yo, as he is also called, revealed he had an amazing 2020.
“2019 was simply amazing, it was like a combination of a lot of things, that I wanted to do, wanted to realize that happened. I got to see the nightlife in a different light because you see how we are changing as people, how the events, how the culture is changing. I am just happy to be part of those front lining it,” he said.
Speaking on highlight, Kojo Manuel revealed despite gracing the stages of many amazing events, winning the MC of the year at the Ghana DJ Awards was at the pinnacle of his 2019 highlights.
“My highlight will be winning the Best MC at the Ghana DJ Awards. There were others, there were a lot actually.”
“Because my favorite part of what I do is when I get to interacting with the crowd and I had a lot of that in 2019.”
Nyantakyi Kusi Emmanuel, stage name Kojo Manuel (born 4 December) is a Ghanaian Radio Host, Event Host, Artiste. He has recently been crowned as the Best MC at the Ghana DJ Awards 2019. He currently works with YFM Ghana, Ghana’s biggest urban music station, where he hosts the late afternoon show, The DrYve of Your LYfe, from Monday to Friday, 3pm till 7pm . He is also the resident MC for Carbon Night Club.
He also won the award for the Best Youth MC & Media Personality at the FAME Awards 2018. He was nominated twice for Best Club MC Award at the Ghana DJ Awards 2017 & 2018.
