2018 Ghana DJ Awards ‘Artiste DJ of the Year’, Shiwaawa has subtly responded to a recent comment made by DJ Sly regarding the ‘Battle of Our Time’.
DJ Sly had stated that Ebony’s former DJ is not on the same pedigree with him.
Hence, his decision to pull out of the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards ‘Battle of Our Time’.
The two were to lock horns on the night of the 2019 Ghana DJ Awards.
However, DJ Sly said he prefers to battle DJ Vyrusky or DJ Mic Smith who he feels are on his level.
DJ Shiwaawa declined to speak on the matter but shared a screenshot of a Whatsapp chat he had with DJ Sly as a subtle response.
In the chat, DJ Sly acknowledged that he was learning from DJ Shiwaawa.
Organizers of the annual Ghana DJ Awards, Merqury Republic, are expected to release an official statement on the matter soon.
