The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Entry Process for 2024 is now open. Submit your music and releases now for consideration at the 2024 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.

As the official kickoff to the Ghana DJ Awards season, the 2024 Online Entry Process runs from Friday, June 19, through Tuesday, Aug. 20. All DJs must submit their eligible recordings and releases for Ghana DJ Awards consideration during this period, regardless of the public release date. The public can also join the process by nominating DJs online.

The 2024 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards will take place Saturday, November 9, live at Grand Arena in Accra and will broadcast live on the Joy Prime Television Network. Nominations for the 2024 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards will be announced Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

What is the Online Entry Process and how does it work?

Marking the first step toward participating in the various stages of the Ghana DJ Awards season, the process begin with DJs, Music artistes, industry people and fans submitting entries, which are then screened for eligibility and category placement.

After submissions are received during the online entry process, The Nomination Jury, all involved in the creative and technical processes of recording, production and Disc Jockeying, then participate in:

  • (1) the nominating process that determines the four or six finalists in each category; and
  • (2) the final voting process which goes to the Voting Academy, and the public (in some categories) which determines the Ghana DJ Awards recipients (winners) after an audit by a professional firm.

The full participation in our annual Ghana DJ Awards process — from the online entry period to Final Round Voting — on behalf of the the board and the music industry at large is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the Ghana DJ Awards.
