Tamale is set to come alive on August 10 as the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Pub Fest, powered by Smirnoff, rolls into town.
The highly anticipated event will feature exciting performances by top DJs such as DJ Shiwaawa, DJ Ephya and Gal Dem DJ.
Promising an electrifying night of music and entertainment, the program will throw spotlight on emerging DJ talents including Danika DJ and DJ Rash.
Accordingly, the tour which forms part of the 12th anniversary celebration of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards festival will be held in 9 other selected regions across the country including Volta region and Ashanti region.
The cultural event will present DJs with the opportunity to exhibit their talents intimately to audiences, help boost their brands while offering great entertainment to music fans.
Merqury Quaye, Executive Producer of Ghana DJ Awards noted that “our goal with this tour is to establish the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards as the leading name in DJ culture by spotlighting emerging talent and celebrating those who are making significant waves in the industry
He added that pubs are fundamental to the social fabric, serving as vital centres for community engagement, networking and personal expression.
“They provide a space for people to freely express themselves and connect with their communities. The PUB FEST collaborates with pubs nationwide to highlight and celebrate these important venues”, Merqury Quaye added.
The theme for this year’s event, “United By Music,” underscores the power of music to bring people together, transcending boundaries and fostering a sense of unity. This theme reflects Guinness Ghana’s dedication to promoting inclusivity and celebrating the diverse talents within the Ghanaian music industry.
Since 2013, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, produced by Africa’s leading event management company Merqury Republic, has served as the benchmark for assessing the annual performance of DJs in Ghana and beyond.
