Kofi Amoako , popularly known as DJ Vyrusky , is an award-winning Disk Jockey from Ghana. He is currently with Starr FM and is the official DJ for MzVee and Shatta Wale. He was the Commercial Media Manager at EchoHouse, before becoming a full time DJ on Starr Drive in 2014.
EDUCATION
DJ Vyrusky attended St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School for his High School education as a Science student
He completed the University of Ghana Business School with BSc. Administration (Insurance option). DJ Vyrusky recently completed a masters programme from the University of Ghana Business School in Insurance.
CAREER
In a career that started on the University of Ghana campus as a drink-up DJ, DJ Vyrusky was the resident DJ at University of Ghana’s student’s hangout joint, TymeOut where he doubled as the in-house DJ for all EchoHouse and Lynx entertainment events.
Between 2010 and 2011 as a final year student at the University of Ghana Business School, he started playing outside campus and perfected his art through competitions with other campus DJs and friends.
Having established himself as a force to reckon with when it comes to talk of town events, DJ Vyrusky has performed on platforms like Ghana Meets Naija, Tidal Rave, Ghana DJs Awards, Red Room at VGMA, the Switch Concerts from Accra to Kwahu to Kumasi, S-Concert, After the Storm Concert and many more.
