The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has officially opened media accreditation for the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Ceremony, which will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra.
Updated Event Timeline and Key Activities
The build up to the main awards night features a packed schedule of events celebrating Ghana’s vibrant DJ culture:
Pub Fest: Runs from July 26 to October 4, 2025. This nationwide festival features live DJ performances and music events across various venues.
Ghana DJ Clinic: Scheduled for August 30, October 4, and November 27, 2025. The clinic offers workshops, training, and mentorship sessions to help upcoming DJs sharpen their skills.
DJ Entry: Opens on September 1, 2025. DJs can submit their entries to be considered for nomination at the awards.
Nominees Announcement: Set for October 6, 2025, when the official list of nominees for the 2025 Ghana DJ Awards will be revealed.
Voting Period: Begins on October 10, 2025, and closes on November 28, 2025. Fans and industry stakeholders will have the chance to vote for their favorite DJs and artists.
All Female Concert: Taking place on November 1, 2025, this concert celebrates the talent and achievements of female DJs and artists in Ghana.
Main Awards Ceremony: Scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Palms Convention Centre, Accra.
Winners Party: To be held on December 13, 2025, this exclusive event will celebrate the winners and participants of the 2025 Ghana DJ Awards.

Media Accreditation Process
Media organizations interested in covering any of the 2025 Ghana DJ Awards events including Pub Fest, DJ Clinic, All Female Concert, Nominees Jam, Black Carpet, Main Awards Night, and Winners Party must apply for accreditation through the official Ghana DJ Awards credential portal at ghanadjawards.org/2025-media-accreditation.
Deadline for applications is Friday, July 9, 2025.
Only one application per media organization will be accepted.
Applications must be submitted by an editor or director of the media house.
Types of Media Credentials
Media Workroom Access: Includes live event broadcasts, press conference access, and interview opportunities across all events.
Broadcast Row: For media planning live broadcasts during the events, with backstage access and press briefings.
Photo Pit: Reserved for photographers covering the main stage and special events, with limited availability.
Public Fan Engagement
The Pub Fest series, DJ Clinic, All Female Concert, and Nominees Jam will be open to the public at various venues across Accra. Media credential is required to cover these fan events.
