Helping birth a new genre of music (hiplife) and bringing out an album that rocked the core of rap and highlife in the country definitely deserves some celebration after 20 years.
To celebrate and honour Obrafuor for his contributions for the two decades he has been in the music industry, a highly private dinner party was held.
Organised by his friend and producer for ‘Pae Mu Ka’ Hammer, the event took place at the Urban Grill in Accra.
Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, rapper Sarkodie, M.anifest, Yvonne Nelson, producer David Kwabena Bolton (DKB) and dancehall act Epixode were among celebrities at the dinner party.
Before the dinner, Obrafuor had held a mini-concert to officially launch the celebration of ‘Pae Mu Ka’ and announce a bigger concert.
Many fans were excited to here Obrafuor was ready to give them a ‘Pae Mu Ka’ concert.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Yvonne Nelson revealed Pae Mu Ka was the first ever album she bought and it meant a lot to her. She could not wait to join the rapper on his concert.

Sarkodie had a whole essay to write about the rapper he calls ‘Godfather’ while Pappy Kojo shared a video of himself singing the lines of himself rapping ‘Pae Mu Ka’ at 10 years old.
