Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills is said to have a new man in his life after the breakdown of his long-term relationship.
The BBC personality has reportedly split from his boyfriend of three years, Brad Harris, and began dating Sam Vaughan, a radio presenter for Cardiff-based Nation Radio.
While it’s still early days, the pair are said to be enjoying spending time together.
A source told The Sun : “It’s early days but Scott and Sam are really enjoying each other’s company and are travelling across the country to see each other when they can.
“Scott has always had a thing for the Welsh and they hit it off after being introduced by mutual pals after he quietly split from Brad.
“They have been dating properly for about three months and bonded over their jobs and their love for running.”
Scott is said to have spent last weekend in Cardiff to cheer Sam on while he took part in a charity 10k run.
The newspaper also reports that Scott had spoken of tying the knot with Brad in an elaborate wedding ceremony, but that things fizzled out after Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Exeter.
The couple are said to have parted ways amicably.
A representative for Scott said the report was correct, but they had nothing to add.
