Meet DJ Steady, the 10-year-old sensation from Milton Keynes who’s taking the UK and Ibiza music scenes by storm.

DJ Steady discovered her passion for DJing at eight when her dad gifted her some decks, and she hasn’t stopped spinning since.

Just weeks after starting, she hosted a DJ set at her ninth birthday party and soon became a finalist in the adult DJ competition, Mix Master.

Unlike her friends who prefer pop and dance, DJ Steady is all about jungle, drum and bass, and Afrohouse with fewer lyrics. She’s already played at popular venues like Unit Nine club in Milton Keynes and is gearing up for her first festival appearance at “In It Together” in Wales, with hopes to meet Becky Hill backstage.

DJ Steady’s mother, Maria, shares how her own love for clubbing and festivals inspired Eden’s journey. “It’s incredible to see her connect with the crowd and show other kids that age isn’t a barrier to chasing their dreams,” she says. Despite the music industry’s usual age limits, DJ Steady is proving that talent and passion know no age.

This summer, Eden will also perform at the “Raver Tots Festival” in Barnet, north London, where young DJs get a rare chance to shine.

Saoirse Holland, director of Raver Tots, says,

“Offering platforms to young talent like Eden is so important because it’s tough for them to find gigs due to their age.”
